New Compact Weigh Feeder Module Allows Unequaled Degree Of Metering Accuracy

Moonachie, NJ — The Model 270 Weigh Feeder has been specifically designed to accurately and reliably meter polyethylene and polypropylene granules and powders, in an "in-line" vertical configuration, at feed rates between 50 and 6,200 cubic feet per hour.

With its compact design, small footprint and minimal height requirements the Model 270 requires far less "installed space" than conventional flow meters, weigh belts or weight-loss type weigh feeders having similar throughput capacities. And, the Model 270 is designed with only one moving part that continuously weighs and discharges dry solid materials in a completely dust-tight assembly. The unit is a zero reference weigh feeder utilizing the mechanically counterbalanced Acrison non-load cell based weighing system for superior weight sensing and reliable long-term operation.

Like all Acrison Weigh Feeders, these models are designed for the industrial environment, with a virtually indestructible; non-load cell counterbalanced weighing mechanism that never requires recalibration or adjustment. Its all digital "Ratiometric Digital Weight Sensor", produces an unamplified resolution of 1 part in 1.048.576 (full 20 bits) ensuring the highest possible level of metering performance. When combined with one of Acrison's technologically advanced multiprocessor controllers an unequaled degree of metering accuracy and overall weigh feeding performance is achieved.
