Diamant Art Corporation Continues To Successfully Meet Criteria For Certification By North America`S Most Widely Recognized And Respected Multi-Attribute Environmental Certification Agency

Toronto - Diamant Art Corporation announced that Diamant Film Inc. wholly owned subsidiary, as previously announced, has earned and continues to maintain the EcoLogo for their revolutionary Cheese Packaging Film from Source-reduced Plastic.

Numerous plastic film products are produced for wrapping cheese and similar food items. The purpose of such wrappings is to preserve the cheese until the final consumer utilizes it, and as such must provide an effective vapor barrier, while allowing sufficient oxygen transfer to prevent spoilage. Some traditional films contain chorine compounds such as polyvinyl chloride or polyvinyl di-chloride. These chlorine-containing resins may pose significant environmental impacts during their production and final disposal, and can produce harmful emissions during combustion.

Diamant Corporation's green alternative to conventional plastic wrap has awarded them this prestigious mark as recognition for their technology that reduces the overall material used (i.e., "source-reduction") and provides an additional benefit through the reduced use of non-renewable resources.

"We are very proud and honored to have been able to achieve this prestigious Logo. As we continue to develop award winning, ecologically friendly alternatives, we believe that with the emergence of this Eco Friendly Era, we are pioneers," stated Stefan Gudmundsson, CEO and President of Diamant Film Inc.
