Magnesium-Based Absorbent

Designed for wastewater treatment, flow through and filtration applications involving moderate pH adjustment and the reduction of low levels of soluble cationic, hazardous metals, the FloMag G is a granular magnesium-based filter media and absorbent. Wastewater with a pH greater than five and metal concentrations up to 25 mg/l can be treated by this unit, which neutralizes acids to form soluble salts and to precipitate heavy metals. The system can also function as a filter and/or absorbent to capture the insoluble metals.
