These rugged industrial auger feeders are designed to meter precise quantities of regrind very accurately into the main flow of virgin material directly above the throat of your process machine. The controller is our popular automatic speed control style controller, with the additional features suited for regrind only.

Control Regrind Usage
Installed beneath existing natural material hoppers, these special feeders provide the means to easily and accurately use previously colored regrind while avoiding double-coloring. Regrind enters the flow of resin at the same height as the color feed. Baffles ensure even distribution and mix of materials.

Select % Regrind Directly and Avoid "Double" Coloring
Series MRF feeders utilize our popular automatic speed control (Series MPA, MDG, MCF), which automatically compensate for the percent of regrind set for the mix. When regrind runs low, the regrind feeder will automatically shut off and the full 100% coloring will be resumed.

Dollar Savings
Uniform coloring is assured; there is no color waste even if regrind usage alternates from as wide a range as 0% to 80%! This automatic control saves color day in and day out, and saves thousands of dollars over time.

Easy-View Window
A large window of 1/2" acrylic allows you to examine the entire interior of the flow chamber and monitor material flow. This window is hinged for easy access to the chamber.

Clean Out Chute
Complete emptying of the hopper is done rapidly and easily by way of a hinged clean out chute directly under the feed screw and hopper.

Capacity
The Model 16-50 hopper holds up to 50 pounds of regrind; Model 8-50 holds up to 30 lbs. Sight glasses provide view of the material level.
