The Level 2 SQF certification helps to prevent, rather than react, to problems that can cause foodborne illness. The process requires environmental monitoring, allergen management, sanitation control, traceability and corrective actions. The company will be subject to inspections, and is responsible for tracking incoming materials and providing lot number bookends.
