Gravimetric Self-Loading System

Replacing the need for a highly sophisticated PLC-based sequencing control panel, which is typically used to control more complex systems, the new Self Loading System is a simple microprocessor-based system that is controlled through the standard Guardian® blender mini-op controller.
Process Control's new Self Loading System is now available on all Guardian® Gravimetric Batch Blenders. Replacing the need for a highly sophisticated PLC-based sequencing control panel, which is typically used to control more complex systems, the new Self Loading System is a simple microprocessor-based system that is controlled through the standard Guardian® blender mini-op controller. The system can control all of the vacuum loading functions including a central vacuum pump, continuous run valve, central dust collector, and vacuum receivers, up to eight.

The Self Loading Panel mounts next to the Guardian's® operator station to which it is connected and communicates through a serial port. The entire system, both blending and loading, can now be controlled and monitored all from one central point. As with the basic Guardian® setup, the loading system can be controlled remotely with the PCCWeb® as well. In addition, an alarm feature for the vacuum loading is tied into the Guardian® blender operator station which will signal if there is a problem with any part of the loading process.

The Guardian® Blender Self Loading System will provide you with a simple, fully controllable blender and loading system, from one central user interface. This is the latest example of how PROCESS CONTROL engineers strive to create simple and friendly operation systems.
