These innovative epoxy polymer coatings are the latest technology in high performance protection for horizontal and vertical applications, furnishing excellent colorfastness, chemical resistance and hardness, with improved convenience, ease of application and potential savings.

Providing outstanding non-yellowing characteristics and colorfastness, the innovative polymer coatings impart concrete floors as well as poured and precast concrete walls, CMU (Concrete Masonry Unit) and cement board walls with industry-leading chemical resistant protection, while simultaneously improving installation convenience, thus potentially lowering needed jobsite man hours and cost.

The updated version of Floropoxy 4900, now with markedly lower viscosity than the original polymer coating formulation, offers improved handling ease, while maintaining its versatility for use as a hard, durable, colorfast mid coat and topcoat in a variety of Florock Flooring Systems. New Floropoxy 4900V is the thixotropic version of this product, providing the high viscosity needed when a “stippled” or orange-peel finish is desired on either horizontal or approved vertical surfaces.

Floropoxy 4900 and Floropoxy 4900V are both two-component epoxy coatings with 2:1 mix ratios that may be easily tinted with Florock 100% Solids Colorants at the jobsite. While each product has a unique Part A Component, they share the same Part B Component, enabling users to stock fewer SKUs. Solvent-free with zero VOC, Floropoxy 4900 and 4900V, available in 3 gallon cases or 15 gallon pail sets, meet USDA, FDA, OSHA and EPA requirements and qualify for U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED points.
