Berstorff's Compact Compounding Skid (C.C.-Skid) combines a Berstorff ZE twin-screw extruder and auxiliary equipment mounted on a structural steel frame. It is designed to deliver compounding and extrusion capabilities to nearly any location. Virtually operational upon delivery, Berstorff's C.C.-Skid offers rapid start-up capability for compounding applications. A C.C.-Skid may be combined with any of the following Berstorff ZE twin-screw extruders: ZE 60/A, ZE 75/A, ZE 90/A or ZE 110.
A compounding twin-screw extruder also can be combined with any of the following: primary and secondary feeding equipment, side feeder, vacuum system, dust collector, pellet conveyors, bag-break station, liquid injection system, gearbox lube oil system, barrel cooling unit, integrated controls, and top platform with OSHA-approved stairs and handrails.
