The Boy 12 is specially designed for the manufacturing of high precision micro-parts. It is a hydraulic injection molding machine with a two-platen clamping unit.
This true closed loop controlled injection molding machine is extremely compact. Many of the components found in the Boy 22 series, which has been built in large numbers, are also integrated into the 12. The machine can consequently be offered at a very reasonable price, allowing for highly cost-efficient production of micro-parts. It is ruggedly designed and built for reliable, energy efficient, round-the-clock continuous production.
The Boy 12 is featured with the PROCAN II Control(R) and Procan CT microprocessor based control for ultra precision, repeatability and accuracy with scan rates of .1ms. That blend of precision and power results in very accurate metering and injection of extremely small shot volumes, depending whether you choose the 14mm (5.5 gram) or 18mm (9.1 gram) diameter plasticizing unit.
