A new system from Mascon brings eCommerce efficiency to the relationships plastics processors have with their customers. Anytime day or night via their secured Web-browser, your customers can:
  • Place orders online.
  • Query inventory levels for parts made to stock.
  • Check pricing (even customer specific pricing schedules).
  • Check invoices.
  • Track work orders and quick-view order status.
  • Review their purchasing history.
  • Monitor corrective action items.
  • Link to major shippers for shipping status.
Customers use a standard Web-browser to log into the AIMS CustomerFirst system, which in turn makes a secure link into the processor's ERP system. AIMS CustomerFirst is capable of interfacing with most of the business information systems plastic processors are using, including AIMS, SAP, BAAN, DTR, IQ, Epicor and others. In other words, processors can use AIMS CustomerFirst even if they don't own an AIMS LAN system.

Using Web-based software, processors will gain several significant benefits:

  • Access from anywhere... anyone with Internet access and the proper security will be able to use the system. With AIMS CustomerFirst, any customer, anywhere, can have easy access to their information at anytime.
  • Simpler to use... configured for use on the Web, the system is highly intuitive.
  • Reduced hardware, software requirements... Internet-hosting eliminates the need for additional network hardware and software.
  • Easier scaling, faster deployment... system expansion to accommodate new users will never be an issue because no additional software needs to be installed.
  • Lower up-front costs... when a processor installs software on an in-house computer, licensing and implementation costs are paid before the system benefits can be fully realized. With a Web-based system, the monthly subscription fee allows users to synchronize cash flow to actual usage.
  • Simplier maintenance... all software upgrades and repairs will take place on the Web site. System administration will be Mascon's responsibility, cutting the user's Information Technology overhead.
